Home Inspection Tips

Whether you’re looking to buy or sell a property, you’ll want to make sure you understand the home inspection process and what will be inspected. As such, these tips can help Sellers prepare their property for the multiple inspections a Buyer may order, and for Buyers, this will help you make informed decisions about the property and necessary repairs prior to purchasing.

Every state has it’s own rules as do many counties and municipalities. Our goal is to ensure you have the best experience with your home sale or purchase as possible. We would love the opportunity to work for you...

Common inspection items:

  • Filters should be changed throughout your home including HVAC, Furnace, built-in Humidifier and any others the property may have
  • Inspection of all windows for any broken glass, broken seals or inoperable mechanisms
  • Peeling or chipped paint inside and out - this gets flagged every time!
  • GFCI outlets as well as smoke detectors and CO monitors should be located according to national & local codes
  • Kitchen appliances should be in proper working order

Please complete the form below to receive the expanded list and as always, feel free to reach out by phone or text with your questions or concerns.
